Connecting with a body of believers is not just an option as a Christian, but essential to what it means to walk with Christ. We are told to not forsake the gathering of believers (Hebrews 10:25), that Christ desire for us is to be one (John 17), and that the earliest recorded Churches where TOGETHER, dedicated to the teachings of Christ and the Apostles (Acts 2). Ultimately, the scriptures are clear, you must be a connected part of the body of Christ to be considered faithful to Christ.

Success looks like: Dedication to a Life Group, forming a biblical worldview, and growth in the areas of temptation and overcoming sin.

As a Christian, the rest of your earthly life will be one of growth. We call the process of looking more like Jesus everyday, sanctification, and this process is how we accomplish the will of God for our lives (1 These. 4:1) and renew our minds so that we can live a life pleasing to God (Romans 12:1-2).

Do you know why the Dead Sea is dead?

It's because everything flows into it, but it has not outlet! This is similar to our lives, we cannot be spiritually healthy if everyone pours into us but we don't pour into others. Think about it, your Lord and King said He came to serve, how then can we go about our lives without humbling ourselves to serve others.

In this phase of discipleship the goal is to invest in your local Church with your time, talent, and treasure for the glory of God and the advance of His kingdom.

Spiritual Disciplines: Witnessing, self-denial, and love.

Success looks like: Regularly sharing your faith, clearly explaining the gospel, Leading a Life Group.

Multiplication is the goal of every disciple and is the fulfillment of the great commission given by Jesus. His desire is that you take the things given to you and reproduce them in others.

In 2 Corinthians 5, Paul tells us we have been interested with the ministry of reconciliation and Ephesians 4 tells us this is the purpose of ministry, to prepare the saints to accomplish the work set before them. Our goal then, is to prepare you to accomplish your part of that ministry by multiplying in whatever way the Lord guides you! This can look like leading a Life Group or Discipleship Group, it can also look like sharing your faith with someone at lunch or work.

HEAL

Primary Ministry: Care Team

Success looks like: Faith in Jesus, learning to forgive.

Healing here, is primarily the healing you receive from being "born again", a topic we learn about from Jesus in John chapter 3. When confronted by a religious leader he says, " no one will enter the Kingdom of Heaven until they are born again. You must be made into a new creation in Jesus, this is, to put it simply, an internal act of creation by God himself that happens when the Spirit is drawing you and you place your faith in Jesus.
